Checklist for Clay Creation new enrollies rules agreement.  

• I understand that CC is a hobbyist studio and we do not have the resources to be a production studio and will not be able to support a potter making a living.
• I have been informed of class hours. As a new or returning student of CC I understand that my practice time available is during class times under the supervision of a teacher until I am invited to CC’s open studio times by my teacher. This is for safety reasons and to make sure I am familiar enough with the studio to work on my own.
• I have been explained the price of clay. I know there is a 3 bag limit on clay purchases per month and purchased at CC only for use here. 
• I will bring my own small kitchen towel to each class.
• I will clean up after myself and agree that CLEAN = %100 of my mess + a small % of mess left behind by others = A healthy happy ceramic studio.
• I understand that dry clay and glaze turns to dust. It is harmful to breath so cleaning up after myself thoroughly is not only appreciated but good for the health of myself and everyone participating at CC. 
• I understand that in producing larger pottery pieces they may take longer to be finished. CC needs to make fair space for everyone in each firing and larger items are more difficult to accommodate.
• Items over 13 inches will have an additional firing fee of $5 for each inch over 13)*
• You should be given a tour of CC. I have been explained the full process of ceramics from wet clay to bisque firing to glazing to final firing etc before you get going. 
• I understand that if I will be absent for part of my paid month, I will inform a staff person of CC before my vacation/time away in order to get any make up credit for this time. 
• When my enrollment is done I will take my unfinished pieces with me. If I would like those pieces to be finished (bisque’d, glazed, fired etc) I will continue paying enrollment until they are finished no matter if I participate in classes/open studio or not.
• I understand that CC will bring growth and positivity to my life as an artist!

 ALL WORK MUST be made at the studio with clay purchased from the studio.  Projects should not go home and return to the studio. We are  not a home studio extension.
